Distinguished Speaker Series

The third installment of the Health Science Center’s Distinguished Speaker Series kicked off the week of inaugural events. The speaker was Dr. Steven DeKosky, professor and chair of the Department of Neurology, as well as director of the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center at the University of Pittsburgh. He presented “Alzheimer’s Disease: Advances in Basic and Clinical Research and Implications for Treatment.”

Dr. DeKosky addressed a crowd of approximately 150 in UNTHSC’s Luibel Hall.	Alzheimer’s disease experts, including Health Science Center faculty members, participated in a panel discussion with Dr. DeKosky.
