Functions: Responsible for providing information and assistance concerning federal regulations to Health Science Center departments intending to employ foreign nationals.  Assists both departments and foreign nationals with immigration procedures, ensuring all paperwork, including visa applications, are completed accurately and filed in a timely manner. Coordinate payments for all filing and/or legal fees, and verifying approval from the Attorney General. Serve as UNTHSC immigration liaison whenever a foreign national is working with outside counsel.

Functions: This position assists administrators with discipline and discharge procedures to ensure institutional policies are followed. This position facilitates the Complaint and Grievance process, administers the Alternative Dispute Resolution process, and counsels both supervisors and employees regarding policy and procedure issues. Duties also include overseeing employment and recruitment procedures for faculty and temporary employees and processing Workers’ Compensation claims.
