New CME Outcomes Report Available:
Residents of 12 counties in East Texas are breathing a little easier due in part to the efforts of the UNTHSC. After educating almost 370 health care professionals in the region on the diagnosis and treatment of COPD, improvements in the ability to educate patients and more accurately test for and treat it were observed. These improvements contributed to more than $3.4 million in savings from a reduction in hospital admissions. Read the report here.
