Military personnel including reservists, retirees, spouses and children browsed the "Technology Petting Zoo," a collection of 20 assorted e-readers and tablets that gives participants hands-on practice with internet medical info.UNTHSC's Gibson D. Lewis Library is an official Resource Library of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine. Lewis Library is the Network's medical and health resource library for 28 Texas counties, serving more than 3 million people. The Library also is the primary information resource for all Texas' osteopathic physicians and facilities.
Since 1980, the Lewis Library has provided outreach to health professionals, hospitals, clinics, community-based organizations, independent care facilities, researchers and legal consultants in the medical and health fields.
